Now that you have your Rachio controller online, your account is created and you just set up your zones, you may wonder where you can find the general controller settings. Need to set up an accessory? Looking to include a master valve? Or maybe check your weather intelligence thresholds?  This article is for you!

Settings

The Settings section has the general controller and account settings, including history, controller settings, yard map, and help center. It can be accessed by tapping the Settings Wheel icon at the top-right corner of your screen.

This is how it will look like:

Hibernation Mode (formerly Standby)

When your controller is on Hibernation mode ON, all scheduled watering will be skipped.

Flow Notifications

To remove the “High Flow Detected” or "Low Flow Detects" banner from the zones.

History

The history feed consolidates all the historical information on your Rachio system, including updates and changes.

Shared Access

Shared Access will allow you to share control of your device with others. Sharing options:

  • “Complete Access” will allow another user to make any changes to your system.
  • “Limited Access” will allow another user to turn your device on and off, but not make any changes to your system.
  • “Transfer Ownership” will take the control of the device off of your device and give it to the user you select.

Usage

Rachio helps you track the amount of water your sprinklers apply so that you can gain insight into your savings and plant health.

Yard Map

Yard Map allows you to draw your zone boundaries and customize sprinkler heads to create a unique picture of your landscape and improve water usage reporting.
