History tab: events and notifications

Have you ever wondered about the different types of notifications or events on your history tab on your Rachio app? We got you covered! In this article, several events from your history tab will be explained in detail.
A useful way of getting to know what the controller is doing and what it has done is to access the History tab (Which is accessible through the Settings Wheel on the top-right corner of the screen > History). You will find useful information sorted by the most recent to the older activities that the Rachio controller has done.
Shared access events

Complete access revoked
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the main account attached to the Rachio controller revokes access of a secondary user to the controller.
Complete access shared (the secondary user already has a Rachio account)
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the main account attached to the Rachio controller shares access with another account.
Complete access shared (the secondary user does not have a Rachio account yet)
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the main account attached to the Rachio controller shares access with an email address that is not attached to any Rachio accounts yet.
Controller status events
Your controller is activated
This event will be listed on the history tab as soon as you successfully scan the barcode and the controller gets attached to your Rachio account. If you're installing a brand-new controller, read this article.
Power cycle
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the controller loses power. The event will be added to the history tab as soon as the controller gets back online.
Controller offline
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the controller goes offline for more than 24 hours. To learn more about why your controller is going offline, read this article.
Hibernation (formerly Standby) mode on
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the user enables the hibernation mode on the ‘more’ tab. This means no schedules will run automatically until the hibernation mode is disabled. To learn more about the hibernation mode, read this article.
Hibernation (formerly Standby) mode off
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the user disables the hibernation mode under the Settings Wheel tab. This means the Rachio will start to water according to its schedules.

Schedule Started – blue icon
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the Rachio triggers a Fixed type of schedule that was set previously by the user.
Schedule completed – blue icon
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the Rachio controller finishes a Fixed type of schedule that was set previously by the user.
Schedule completed – green icon
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the Rachio finishes a Flex Daily/Flex Monthly type of schedule that was set previously by the user.
Schedule Started – Quick Run
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the user sets a quick run for all of their zones. To learn more about the quick run feature, read this article.
Schedule Stopped – Quick Run
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever a Quick Run is manually stopped by the user.
Manual Skip Set - before the schedule run
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever a future schedule is manually skipped by the user. The time and date that the schedule was first set to run will be displayed on the notification. To learn more about water skips and water delay, read this article.
Manual Skip Cleared
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever a manual skip for a schedule is cleared by the user. The time and date that the schedule was first set to run will be displayed on the notification.
Manual Skip Set - after the scheduled run time
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever a schedule is manually skipped by the user. The time and date that the schedule was first set to run will be displayed on the notification.
Zone Started
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever a schedule takes place and triggers a specific zone. The exact time the Rachio triggered that zone will be displayed.
Zone Completed
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever a schedule takes place and stops a specific zone. The exact time the Rachio stopped that zone will be displayed as well as for how long that particular zone watered during that run.
Zone watered offline
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the Rachio runs a schedule while it is offline. The event will appear on the history tab once the controller gets back online. To learn more about how your Rachio behaves while offline, read this article.
Zone Soaking
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever a soaking time is set for a particular zone. This means Smart Cycle or Manual Cycle and Soak is enabled for that schedule and is taking place at the specified time on the notification. Zone Soaked
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever a soaking time is over for a particular zone. This means Smart Cycle or Manual Cycle and Soak is enabled for that schedule and took place at the specified time on the notification.
Weather Intelligence and Weather Intelligence Plus events
Weather intelligence Update
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the thresholds selected on the Weather Intelligence Plus tab for rain, wind, and temperature skips are not reached. This means the schedules will keep watering according to their settings.
Schedule adjusted for the season
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever a Seasonal Shift adjusts the watering time of a schedule automatically. This feature is only triggered when it is enabled by the user once a schedule is edited or created. To learn more about Seasonal Shift, read this article.
Weather intelligence Update
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the thresholds selected on the Weather Intelligence Plus tab for rain, wind, and temperature skips are not reached. This means the schedules will keep watering according to their settings.
Rain Skip
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the thresholds selected on the Weather Intelligence Plus for rain are surpassed. This means the next run will be skipped due to the amount of rain observed by the Weather Network/Station. To learn more about rain skips, read this article.
Saturation Skip
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the weather and soil conditions indicate to the controller that there’s enough water in the soil to skip the next watering. To learn more about saturation skips, read this article.
Wind Skip
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the thresholds selected on the Weather Intelligence Plus for wind are surpassed. This means the next run will be skipped due to wind conditions observed by the Weather Network/Station. To learn more about wind skips, read this article.
Freeze Skip
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the thresholds selected on the Weather Intelligence Plus for temperature are surpassed. This means the next run will be skipped due to the freeze observed by the Weather Network/Station. To learn more about freeze skips, read this article.
Other types of events
Zone fault detected
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever the Rachio identifies a current fault on one of the zones or the master valve/pump start relay. The controller automatically shuts down that zone in order to prevent any electrical damage to its terminals/electrical components. To learn more about zone faults, read this article.
Integration event – stop
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever an integration like SmartThings, or Google Home triggers or stops a schedule. To learn more about smart integration, read this article.
Integration event added
This event will be listed on the history tab whenever a new integration like Alexa, or Google Home is authorized/added.
