Summary

You may observe different values when comparing Rachio's Forecast from the Events Page Cards and the Calendar to WUnderground and other weather services. This article will help you understand where the data comes from for each particular case.

The data seen on the Events Page comes from our Weather Provider's system - Aeris. However, this forecast information won't affect the schedule's performance when it comes to applying a skip for the upcoming watering. Also, it won't match the data from a Personal Weather Station and will probably be different from other weather providers.

Wondering if the weather data matches your location? 

If it is too different, we can double-check if the Weather data is locked into the correct address

1. Even if the controller's address is correct, navigate to Settings Wheel > Controller Settings > Location > Change Address and change it to something else. Can be just a different house number - we are going to change it back in a bit. Make sure to tap on Update Address to save.
2. Go back into Change Address and change it back to the correct address.
3. Back out and tap on Account > Homes > select the Home where the controller is located > Weather Source.
   -If Weather Network is selected, tap on Weather Station > Select Station. Select any station and exit the Weather Source screen to update.
   -If a Weather Station is selected, tap on Weather Network and exit the screen to update.
4. Go back into Weather Source and move back to the previous selection.

That should be enough to force an update and lock the data source to the correct GPS data. Force Quit the app to update.
