**Smart Home Integrations Requirements**

  

*   **Account Ownership:** The Rachio controller must be registered to your primary account. Please note that shared access devices are not supported for third-party integrations.
*   **Connectivity:** The controller must be online during the initial setup and must remain connected to the internet to process commands.

# Rachio Public API

  

**To Find Your API Key**

Open the Rachio App and tap the Account icon in the top right corner of the app. You'll find your API key located at the bottom of the screen. Tap "Copy" to copy your API key.
