# Enabling Location Permissions for the Rachio App

Some Rachio app features, such as the "Near Me" view in Device Lookup, require access to your device's location. This article covers how to enable location permissions for the Rachio app on iPhone and Android.

## iPhone

  

1\. Privacy and Security Settings  
Open your phone settings and navigate to Privacy & Security:

2\. Select Location Services

From the Privacy menu, click on Location Services:

3\. Toggle "ON" & Find Rachio

In the Location Services view, be sure the Location Services toggle is set to ON. Find the Rachio app in the list within the Location Services view.

4\. Check "While Using the App"  
Make sure the  **While Using the App** option is set.

You're ready to go!

## Android

  

1\. Settings > Location  
Open your phone settings: Find and tap Location:

2\. Toggle "ON" & allow for Rachio

Make sure the toggle in the upper right is set to ON. Then tap "app location permissions". Find and tap Rachio, and tap "allow".
