**Apple iOS**: The Rachio app requires a phone or tablet running iOS 16.0 or later.

  

**Android**: The Rachio app requires a phone or tablet running Android 8.0 or later.

#### Note

The Rachio mobile app is required to connect devices to Wi-Fi.

## Updating Your Rachio App

Your Rachio app should automatically update to the latest version if automatic updates are enabled in your device settings. If automatic updates are disabled, you may need to manually update the app by following the steps below.

  

*   **For iOS:** Open the Apple App Store, look for the Rachio app, and click “Update”. 
*   **For Android:** Open the Google Play Store, select “My apps and games” from the side menu, look for the Rachio app, and click “Update”. 
*   **For Kindle:** Head to [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/Rachio/dp/B00TO1QN9I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1549910201&sr=8-1&keywords=rachio+app) to download or update the app. The current version of the Kindle app is V3.8.
