Last Update:Feb 10 2022 2:57pm

When you have a router provided by AT&T, you can use the app to manage the router. As you can use the app to open guest networks, check if the Rachio is being blocked (or paused), and even check if the controller's location has good Wi-Fi coverage. This article will cover some of the instructions on how to use your AT&T app to manage these settings, so you can create a guest network, unblock the Rachio controller and check the signal strength.

AT&T App:

Name: AT&T Smart Home Manager (App Store, Play Store)

Web App: att.com/smarthomemanager

Things to look for:

Signal Strength:

Suspecting low signal strength? The App Has a “Find Weak Wi-Fi Spots”.

Create Guest Wi-Fi:

To create a Guest Wi-Fi from the AT&T Smart Home Manager, tap “My Wi-Fi” at the Upper left of the screen.

Then, tap “Create Guest Wi-Fi” at the bottom. Be sure to select the 2,4GHz Frequency.

How to “unpause” a device:

To unpause a device, tap “Network” at the bottom, and then “Connected Devices”.

There you’ll see a list of all the connected devices. Unpause the Rachio Controller if necessary (may happen in Light 3 cases).
